1937

Keiji Maezawa founded Showa Seisakusyo Corporation in Tokyo and started selling various machinery fittings and equipments for water supply.

1947

Reorganized and incorporated the company as Maezawa Valve Industries,Inc.

1950

The Kawaguchi Plant was constructed in Saitama Prefecture, in which the integrated manufacturing system of valves and plugs for water works was established.

1954

The Kawaguchi Plant was certified as an authorized JIS factory.

1961

A new plant was constructed in Satte city, Saitama Prefecture. Started manufacturing of gates and weirs.

1973

The company has been renamed as Maezawa Industries,Inc.

1986

Merged two plants into the Satte Plant to be reorganized as the Saitama Plant for the improvement and expansion of the production system. 

1987

The company name "Maezawa Industries, Inc." was registered as an over-the-counter stock with the Japan Securities Dealers Association.

1988

Established the Central Laboratory.

1998

A new company building "Aqua Techno Center" was constructed in Kawaguchi city ,Saitama Prefecture.

Industrial Environment Division was established as a specialized division for industrial wastewater treatment.

2009

The organization and the function of headquarters were consolidated in Aqua Techno Center in Kawaguchi.

2013

Established the Bangkok Representative Office(Thailand).
